Provision of school maintenance equipment

Many of the rural schools are located in sparsely populated remote areas surrounded by unkempt vegetation. 

 

To reduce the danger of having wild animals lurking in the bushes and long overgrown grass, we have provided a heavy duty grass cutter to Lakhu Primary School located at a remote area in Punakha. This equipment will ease the effort of the school in keeping the surrounding neat and prevent potential dangers of children getting bitten by snakes lurking in the overgrown grass.
