In March 2018, we made a 3 weeks trip to the rural eastern Bhutan and visited some schools with the objective of identifying any support that we can provide to improve the social well beings of the children in rural schools.
A Different Kind Of Sightseeing In Bhutan
While most of our guests and other tourists visit Bhutan for it's majestic views of the mountains, visiting historical Dzongs and Lhakhangs and to take a hike up to Taktsang aka Tiger's Nest Temple, we spend our 3 weeks visiting rural schools, engaging with the school children and to distribute items we prepared for them such as dental kits, bags and stationary.
